AI Consultant in Vancouver and Metro Vancouver

If you searched for an AI consultant near you, you probably meant it. We're twenty minutes from downtown, we work in your timezone, and we'll sit in your office for the first session if you'd rather do it that way.

Why Local Still Matters for This Work

Honest answer first: most of this work happens over video calls and shared screens, and an AI consultant in Toronto can do it for you perfectly well. Anyone telling you otherwise is selling proximity. Whether you went looking for an AI consultant or a business consultant near you, the search usually means the same thing: somebody close enough to sit down with, who can look at how the company actually runs.

What being here does change is smaller and more practical. You get someone working your business hours instead of someone whose afternoon is your evening. You can put a face to the person before you hand over access to your systems, which is worth more than it sounds when the thing being handed over is your client list and your accounting. And when the first discovery session is the one that decides what gets built, there's something to be said for doing it in the room.

We're in Burnaby. That's a short drive from Vancouver, Surrey, Richmond, Coquitlam and the North Shore, and we cover the rest of BC the same way we cover the rest of the country.

What the Work Actually Is

We follow one job through your business from the first phone call to the paid invoice, and mark every point where it changes hands or gets typed in a second time. Then we rank those points by what each one costs you in a week, and we fix them in that order.

Sometimes the fix involves AI. More often it's two systems that should've been talking to each other since the day you bought the second one. The first build is usually live within two to four weeks, and we pick it on payback speed.

The longer version of all of that, including how to choose between a consultant who writes plans and one who builds, is on the AI consultant overview, and the build side is on the AI automation consultant page.

What It Costs to Talk to Us

The first conversation costs nothing and takes about thirty minutes. We're not going to pretend that's unusual, because most consultants offer the same thing. What we'll do in it is tell you if there's nothing here worth paying for, which is a sentence some people go three calls without hearing.

Past that, the market in 2026 runs roughly $2,000 to $5,000 for a standalone assessment, $5,000 to $15,000 for a single workflow built, and $100 to $500 an hour for advisory depending on who is doing the advising. We quote a fixed fee after the discovery call so the number is settled before the work starts. The full breakdown of what an assessment costs goes through the three pricing models and what to ask before you pay any of them.

What This Looks Like Locally

Lower Mainland, a repair shop

An hour a day at the front desk

A repair shop here takes in work that starts the same way every time: somebody at reception types the job details into an estimating system, then types most of the same details again into the second system that manages the job. The information exists twice because the two tools have never been introduced.

We walked their intake with them and put a number on it. Roughly an hour a day of one person's time, every day, going into retyping information a computer already had. Underneath that sat a second problem the owner cared about more: nobody could tell a customer where their job stood without walking out to the shop floor and looking.

Neither of those is an AI problem in the way the word gets used in advertising. The first is a connection between two systems. The second is a status that already exists in one of them and never leaves the building. Naming them in that order is what the assessment is for.

Client details are kept general here on purpose. We name a client only with their say-so.

Common Questions

Are you actually based in Vancouver?

Burnaby, which is about twenty minutes from downtown depending on the bridge. That matters less than people expect for the work itself and more than people expect for everything around it: same timezone, same business hours, and we can sit in your office for the discovery session if you'd rather do it that way.

How much does it cost to talk to a business consultant?

With us the first conversation's free and runs about thirty minutes. In this market a standalone assessment runs about $2,000 to $5,000, a single workflow build $5,000 to $15,000, and hourly advisory roughly $100 to $500. We quote fixed fees after the discovery call.

Do you only work with companies in Metro Vancouver?

No. We work across BC and with companies throughout Canada and the United States. This page exists because plenty of owners'd rather hire someone in their own city, which is a fair preference, and because the search that brought you here usually means exactly that.

What industries do you work with locally?

Field service and home service operations are the core: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security, roofing. Around that we work with repair shops, property managers, distributors and professional services firms. What they have in common is the same work moving through the same three or four systems every week.

Can we meet in person?

Yes, for the discovery session and the walkthrough at the end, anywhere in Metro Vancouver. The build in the middle goes faster remotely, because it involves sitting inside your systems rather than across a table, and most clients switch to video for that part once they've met us.
